Seoul, February 8th, 2007 – Samsung today announced a new addition to its Ultra portfolio with the introduction of Ultra Smart F700. This revolutionary mobile phone will be showcased at 3GSM World Congress, the largest telecommunications event, next week. The F700 features unrivaled design and brings a superior range of multimedia experiences to consumers.

The Ultra Smart is a part of Samsung’s Ultra portfolio which boasts a full touch screen as well as QWERTY key pad. It reflects the recent trend in telecommunications industry of touch screen user interface and, for users who are not yet familiar with a touch-screen-only user interface, it also implements a QWERTY key pad and VibeTonz technology which allows them to feel the buttons accompanied by responsive vibrations. A “Drag and drop” method of touch screen was adopted for easier menu navigation along with music play list control for an expanded multimedia experience. Volume, play lists, brightness of screens as well as other menu control can be controlled utilizing the touch screen.

As speed is becoming crucial for data communications, Samsung has included the latest trends in mobile to the Ultra Smart F700. The Ultra Smart reflects the latest speed of 7.2 Mbps under the High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) network. Once the 7.2 Mbps HSDPA network completely deployed, F700 users can download an mp3 song (about 4MB each) in 4.4 seconds. A full HTML browser along with the QWERTY key pad enables easy access to the internet for e-mail and data services. Using the new F700, business and creative professionals are able to view content on a stunning 2.78" color display. The device features first class entertainment with a top-of-the-line 5 mega-pixel camera with auto focus and Bluetooth. With 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, it makes it easier to watch videos, listen to songs, share high-quality photos, or catch up on email on the move.

Realmente una hermosura de telefono, tiene unas especificaciones que realmente sobrepasan cualquier expectativa. Me imagino el precio, pues si el iPhone con menores prestaciones tecnicas cuesta un dineral, este aparato debe salir aun mas costoso. Este si me gusta, adios iPhone!!!

esta genial ese cel que os tendrá y que tamaño tiene eso es importante porque con mi a1200 el tamaño y lo que haces es lo que me tieene enamorado de este cel :)

De sistema operativo aun no han dicho nada, aun no lo han lanzado oficialmente. En proximos dias imagino que saldran a la luz todos los detalles de este super telefono.

El infrarojo es algo ya casi que mandado a recoger... si lo tiene bien, pero sino la verdad no me afecta en lo absoluto.

la ventaja que veo en el iphone es su interfaz, que cosa mas increible, miren los videos de youtube.com y queda uno asombrado con el diseño de la interfaz, es algo del otro mundo =)

puede que para algunos la interfaz sea bbuena pero no es suficiente para reinar en un mercado tan duro no mas que SE saque un sucesor valioso del w810 o del w900 o del w850 o del w950 y ya queda aplastado el iphone por el poder que ha tenido la serie walkman el w610 no me parece suficiente pero es competente solo falta que SE se defienda con algo bueno de walkman

Un sucesor de la serie W que quiera hacerle frente al iPhone como minimisimo debe tener pantalla tactil, de hecho cualquier marca que quiera competirle al iPhone debe tener como minimo esa funcion. Despues una alta capacidad de almacenamiento, que sea smartphone, etc, etc, etc.

Segun las pantallas de muestra esto no parece ni windows mobile, ni symbian, ni linux, osea debe ser el propietario de samsung osea muy parecido al del d900. punto malo por eso.

Asi parece... es que aun no han dicho nada del SO de este modelo, pero no he visto tampoco imagenes que demuestren que tiene algo diferente a Samsung. Sera esperar unos dias, sino toco moverlo al foro de Samsung :nervios:
