530 Login incorrect

Buenas tardes instale un servidor ftp con el proftpd y baje un manual de internet para configurar el archivo proftd.conf y cuando intento ingresar desde el Mozilla Firefox me aparece lo siguiente 530 Login incorrect
Que estoy haciendo mal? segui al pie de la letra el manual y no logro ingresar
 
creo que ya me habia pasado, tenes permitido que se logueen como usuario anonimo?
el mozilla por defecto siempre intenta conectarse como usuario anonimo, si tenes ese usuario desabilitado, ese es el problema. te toca reconfigurar el proftp para que permita ese usuario, o configurar el mozilla para que te pida usuario.

Luego ingrese a /var/log/ pero no encontre ningun log de proftpd?
