Bueno, me dio por investigar precisamente esos "glitches" y me encontré con una falla con el OpenAL en las Audigy (aquí hablan de la 2) y que afecta a todos los juegos según parece.

Y la solución debería ser reemplazar el wrapper de OpenAL por este: http://developer.creative.com/articles/article.asp?cat=1&sbcat=31&top=38&aid=46&file=OpenALwEAX.exe
Para los que quieran probar... la versión de OpenAL que trae BF2 es "Arcaica", por eso esto "debe" mejorar de alguna forma el rendimiento en este y otros juegos.
Recuerden primero hacer backup de sus archivos (Siempre se puede volver a como estaba)
1. Renombrar el wrapper de OpenAL B2OpenAL.dll en la carpeta de instalación de Battlefield 2 a BF2OpenAL.ori o algo por el estilo.
2. Descargar e instalar el último OpenALwEAX de Creative.
3. Copie el archivo OpenAL32.dll de WINDOWS\system32 al directorio de BF2 con el nombre de BF2OpenAL.dll y listo.
4. Si por algún motivo, normalmente no le quitan el 32 al archivo (BF2OpenAL32.dll está mal)... cuando entren al juego no va reconocer el audio, después de corregir el problema del archivo deben abrir el juego entrar a opciones y activar nuevamente la opcion de Audio por Hardware (Alto si quieren) y reiniciar.
A mi me está funcionando muy bien por el momento.
Recuerden que es una simple prueba, si el resultado no es mejor a lo que tienen siempre se puede reinstalar

Antes de instalar los nuevos controladores, es preciso desinstalar todos los controladores de pantalla de NVIDIA utilizando el Panel de control de Windows. Abre el menú Inicio > Panel de control > Agregar o quitar programas, busca "NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" o "NVIDIA Display Drivers" y selecciona quitar.
