Holas, bueno tengo un problemilla con mi tarjeta de sonido k viene integrada con esta placa, el problema es k no me la reconoce y la verdad soy un usuario nuevo en linux, si alguien me pudiera orienta.

PD: Alguien sabe como diablos se instala quake en en Linux??
 
Lo de instalar Q3 en Linux le puedes preguntar a Neo, el lo ha probado en Linux.
 
lo mejor es que tengas los controladores y en cuanto a quake eso es jodido, tenes conseguirte un programa que lo cargues en linux creo que es un rpm o algo asi... pero mejor que te explique neo.
 
Para instalar Quake 3 en Linux debes buscarte creo que un point release para Linux y ya, con el pak0.pk3 del instalador de windows, ya tenes....
 
Con respecto al sonido, los últimos drivers que bajé desde VIA están compilados para el kernel 2.4.18-13 creo... Yo tengo los 2.4.18 y no funciona por esa cosa, y no se realmente como hacer funcionar dichos modulos...
 
encontre los drivers, eehh ahora toy desde win, en linux tengo el bookmark donde sale, pero no me deja instalarlo, la tarjeta de sonido k trae integrada la placa es realtek, es la ac 97 creo, algo asi, cuando te en el linux te posteo el enlace.
