:pBUENAS TENGO UNO INCONVENIENTE QUIERO PONER EN MI GENTOO APACHE CON PHP NO IMPORTA LA VERSION PERO Q FUNCIONE Y TENGO ESTOS DOS PROBLEMILLAS ALQUIEN QUE ME PUEDA DAR SUGERENCIAS SE LO AGRADECERIA

1-
/usr/local/apache2/bin/apachectl start

2- /usr/local/apache2/bin/apachectl stop

httpd (no pid file) not running

NO TENGO NI LA MENOR IDEA DE QUE ESO ENTONCES CUALQUIER AYUDA BIENVENIDA=)


 
sacado de la wiki oficial de ubuntu, no es para Gentoo, pero si conoces tu sistema, no tendrás problema en seguir estas recomendaciones.

Troubleshooting

If you get this error:

apache2: Could not determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.0.1 for ServerName

then edit sudo gedit /etc/apache2/apache2.conf and add ServerName localhost at the end of the file

1. cuando instalas apache tambien te dice que hacer.

2. Para el php, edita el archivo /etc/conf.d/apache (no estoy seguro si es asi) y pon -DPHP5 o -DPHP4 segun sea el caso

3. no uses MAYUSCULAS

4. El titulo del tema no dice nada, no dan ganas ni de mirar.
