Hola, bueno siempre me ha surgido esta pregunta... ¿existirá un emulador de gameboy para celular? ... yo ya he visto un emulador de nintendo y de hecho lo tengo.

Si alguien sabe de la existencia de este emulador hagamelo saber... kisiera gastar y gastar bateria jugando pokemon y juegos varios :)

 MeBoy is a Gameboy emulator for mobile phones (which means you can use it to play Gameboy games on a mobile phone). It only works on phones with support for Java Micro Edition, specifically MIDP 2.0. (Your phone manufacturer's web site can tell you if this includes your phone.)
Unfortunately, neither of the components (emulation, Java, and mobile phones) is known as being very fast, and putting them all together doesn't help either. MeBoy is very optimized however, and the speed depends on the processor inside your phone, which may or may not be fast enough. MeBoy also needs at least 120kB memory for the emulator, plus the size of the ROM file. Since the Gameboy has a screen with 160x144 pixels, MeBoy needs that as well.
You need a ROM file for the game you want to play. A ROM file contains the information from the game cartridge. Commercial ROMs can be found on various sites around the net, and may or may not be legal to download in your jurisdiction. Noncommercial ROMs are available as well.
Since mobile phones don't handle files in the same way computers do, you must include the ROM files in the game's ".jar" file before playing. Don't worry though, MeBoyBuilder makes it easy:
  1. Make sure you have Java installed on your computer.
  2. Download and run MeBoyBuilder.jar.
  3. In the file dialogs, select ROM files you want to include, then hit Cancel after the last ROM.
  4. The file MeBoy.jar has been created for you (in the same directory as MeBoyBuilder.jar). Copy it to your phone.
MeBoy is a port of JavaBoy by Neil Millstone, which is a Java-based Gameboy emulator for PCs.


Compatibility

Phones that have successfully run MeBoy: Sony Ericsson D750i, K700i, K750i, K800i, S700i, W800i, and (buggy) W550i.
Phones that have failed to run MeBoy: Siemens C75 (will not install), Sony Ericsson z530i.

y se supone que debe andar no? Porque a mi no me funca. Como hago para que ande un juego de la gameboy advance? Existe otro emulador mas moderno??
 
Pues de esta pagina te puedes bajar el dichoso emulador de game para el celu trae incluido prince of persia, mickey mouse, 2 de los simpsons y uno de pockemon pesa mas o menos 700kb http://www.sonyericsson.paradisezone.net/ entras en la opcion aplicaciones a la izquierda de la pagina y alli lo encuentras espero te sirva ... suerte

no pues se ve que esta bueno ese emulador pero le puedes meter otros juegos de todos los que hay de game boy o que onda con esa cosa

El programa MJavaBoy es un emulador de gameBoy y GameBoyColor para móviles compatibles con MIDP1.0, MIDP2.0 y nokia.
Está programado en java y muchas partes del código forman parte de la version para PC "JavaBoy".
Se distribuye con una rom de prueba, no comercial, que muestra algunas capacidades de funcionamiento sin tardar "mucho". Tardará unos 5-6 minutos en ejecutarse completamente

muy interesante pero esto funciona con el v3i a y donde consigo juegos para estos emuladores

hola que tal necesito ayuda, he estado tratando de pasar el emulador de game boy a mi k700 pero no funciona, diganme si hay alguno que lo soporte....

Emulador Meboy1.2 (emular gameboy en moviles )

Buenas, acabo de ver la nueva versión del emulador de game boy para móviles.

Es la versión 1.2
Te piden que descargues el archivo "Meboybuilder" y una vez descargarlo, abrirlo con doble click y posteriormente dar a "añadir rom".
MI duda es, como ejecutas el archivo "Meboybuilder"???

Mi duda es en el punto 4. AYUDA POR FAVOR.
  1. Make sure you have Java installed on your computer, version 1.5 or later.
  2. Download MeBoyBuilder.jar. If you are presented with a choice, make sure you select "Save"/"Save to disk", not "Open"/"Open with Java...". (MeBoyBuilder will quit with an error message otherwise)
  3. Internet Explorer users only: IE has a weird habit of renaming the file to a ".zip" file, resulting in a compressed folder containing ".class" files. If this happens, change the name to MeBoyBuilder.jar and you should be able to run it as a Java program.
  4. Run MeBoyBuilder.jar by double-clicking.
  5. Press the "Add ROM" and select a ROM file. Repeat for all games you want to add.
  6. Press the "Finish" button. The file MeBoy.jar is created for you (in the same directory as MeBoyBuilder.jar).
  7. Copy MeBoy.jar to your phone. If the phone accepted the file, you're done! Otherwise, read on:
  8. Some phones want a ".jad" file, which is a text file with info about the ".jar" file. MeBoy.jad is created for this reason. (If your phone accepted MeBoy.jar, you do not need MeBoy.jad and can safely throw it away.)
 
wenas, yo si q puedo meter las roms en el jar, y arrancar el emulador cn la rom cargada en el movil, pero no encuentro roms para la gameboy classic, q son las q emula.. si alguien puede pasarm alguna para probarlo s lo agradeceria.
respecto a lo d q no os abre el jar puede ser xq no teneis java.. sino sinceramente no lo se.

Hola!
acordate que necesitas tener el jre (java runtime enviroment) instalado en tu compu para que ese jar (que es una aplicacion java) funcione!!
 
me gustaria saber si de casualidad conocen algun otro emulador de gameboy para celulares ya q estos no los puedo usar, yo tengo un SE W300, si podrian pasar el dato.. muchas gracias...
 
hey aqui os dejo el emulador con un juego de pokemon yellow funciona en mi nokia 5200 ok:p

Como abro el MeBOY con windows para poder indicarle el rom??

Tengo instalado el Java, pero cuando le doy doble click al archivo .jar me abre el Nokia Aplicattion Installer, y cuando pongo ABRIR CON ... no me sale otro programa .....

Que puedo hacer??
