La cuarta entrega de la exitosa serie Total War de Activision está siendo ya preparada para su lanzamiento oficial el próximo 14 de Noviembre. El motor gráfico de Rome:Total war ha sido mejorado a tal punto que yo probablemente, a ratos, me concentre más en las graficas que en el juego :p. Son de verdad impresionantes los escenarios y los detalles de ciudades y terrenos. Todo esto acompañado de una excelente banda sonora como en todos los Total War.

Las animaciones son extremadamente realistas, los soldados interactúan en combate y tienen diferentes formas de ataque. Hay mucha variedad entre los soldados de una misma unidad (a diferencia de Rome donde todos eran igualitos).

El nuevo motor permite librar batallas hasta con 10.000 hombres en el campo totalmente animados.

Ya estuve jugando la demo y la verdad está demasiado bueno, pero le falta mucha optimización. Con mi máquina (PIV 3.2Ghz, 1Gb ddr400 y una Geforce 6800Nu) los fps variaban demasiado entre 60 y 1! a ratos llegaba a 0 en la battalla de Agincourt. Pero sigue siendo rebueno el game.
 
14 de noviembre... can't wait!!! ya cuadré unas cositas en la config del video y el juego va de madres! cada vez es mejor! y es solo el demo...

El demo tiene 3 batallas.
1) Hastings.
2) Pavia.
3) Agincourt <-- Brutal!
 
si estoy q me lo juego q tal correra con PIV de 3.0 ... 512 ddr2 ram .... y una 7600gt OC PCI-E ? ... ute q ya lo ah jugao ????
 
uffffff eso nada de CALL OF JUAREZ ni de OBVLIVION esto si q es pesado!!! conq maquina se lo puede mover??? hay q tener como 4gb para hacer guerras con muchos soldados jojoj
 
Medieval 2 Total War. Parche 1.1 versión española

Ya ha aparecido el primer parche para Medieval 2 Total War. El parche 1.1 para la versión española ya está disponible.

Para ver el listado de cambios seguir leyendo. Es un parche que va a mejorar bastante las prestaciones del juego, aumentando considerablemente la jugabilidad.


Major Fixes
- Fix crash in Deathtrack MP map with empty Team 3 slot
- Fixed Battle AI - armies not engaging enemies at close range.
- Fixed CTD when client attempts to join game that the host is ending.
- Fixed instances when A.I is passive on the campaign map and lets the user win on a campaign battle when stuck in-front of open gates.
- Fixed loop between the windows for Possible Connection Problems and Really Quit?
- Fixed AI: Calvary not charging a spearmen army in a Custom Battle.
- Fixed cavalry not attacking - instances when AI sieges a town with infantry and Calvary, if the infantry die and rout and the player still holds the city, the cavalry do not attack nor rout.
- Fixed passive Siege Attack AI
- Fixed Timurids crash (related to elephant artillery not having enough riders, CTD when trying to shoot)
- Fixed Siege Attack AI trying to attack the back of settlements.

- Fixed Cavalry charge consistency and power. (Still raise and lower lances occasionally)

- Fixed Crash - Auto resolving a siege battle on Gaza and repeatedly Right - Clicking the settlement

- Fix construction crash when converting settlements when buildings relating to initial settlement existed in construction queue.

- Fixed indecisive infantry / broken formation (when ordered to a location they would head in the wrong direction first)
- Fixed being able to open gates with siege towers or embed them in walls

- Diplomacy - AI no longer counters an open proposition with a gift.
- Fixed deployment lines being rendered incorrectly around ambient buildings

Dejenme decirles que este juego está del ************$!!! con el parche se arreglaron algunas cositas. Lo único malo es que a veces se amontonan los soldados en un punto y se jode la batalla por que se traga el cpu (los fps se quedan en 1), me pasó 3 veces en mi P4 y he leído que se jode hasta un E6600 así que es un errorcito más bien grave.

ni idea cuantas pueden jugar en red MINIMAL, pero se me ocurrio que podriamos jugar por hamachi al medieval ¿que les parece? (y de paso probamos cuantas personas pueden jugar jeje)
 
Pues en lan se puede hasta 8 jugadores por batalla. Aguanta que intentemos con el tamagochi (hamachi) a ver que tal nos va..

Mejor dicho, ya puse la red aunque mi conexión es bastante podrida (200kbps down y 128kbps up :( ) Si otro desea manejarla me avisa.
