Win7 Problema con Alcohol 120% y Dell M1210 al bootear el sistema operativo

Señores,

Resulta que cuando arranco la instalación del Alcohol 120% en mi maquina Dell M1210 con Windows XP SP2 me aparece un mensaje diciendo que se instalará el driver SPTD y luego se reiniciará la maquina. El Driver aparentemente se instala bien pero luego de reiniciarse el OS no sube. Simplemente aparece la barrita desplazandose como si Windows estuviera cargando y luego se queda la pantalla negra y no carga el escritorio.

Al parecer es un problema que ocurre en varias maquinas Dell pero las soluciones que veo en foros de Internet no me funcionan.

A alguien le ha ocurrido este problema?
Saben como solucionarlo?

Daemon Tools utiliza el mismo driver... así que obtendría el mismo problema.

Power ISO no lo he probado. Cuantos drives virtuales soporta y que tipos de imagenes?

The problem is with sptd.sys (daemon tools/alcohol scsi pass through drivers) and the logitech drivers. For some reason they don't coexist so you can have only one of them loaded at startup. Since the camera is integrated, that means you can't run any virtual drive emulator software on the system.

I've been trying to debug this problem for days without any success.

Una solución:

to disable sptd from load in start up.
go to safe mode.
run-regedit-local machine-system-currentcontrolset-service-sptd
change start value to 4.
then you can start your system again without reinstall windows.

El problema es que si hago esto... no me funciona Alcohol 120%.
