He particionado recientemente el disco C: , quedando instalado Windows 7 y Ubuntu 14.02 en 2 particiones distintas. Ambos sistemas operativos funcionaban bien en un principio. El problema surgió a partir de un mensaje al bootear Ubuntu: "ACPI PCC Probe Failed" . Aclaro que a pesar del mensaje el sistema operativo finalmente arrancaba. Navegando y buscando un poco de información leí que proponían editar con gedit el siguiente archivo, /etc/default/grub y agregar la linea GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="pci_noacpi" . Ahora es peor que antes porque la pantalla queda negra y no pasa nada.. Estoy intentando entrar en recovery mode pero tampoco entra, se queda en el siguiente punto:
