Buenas, no entiendo porque MGS4 y otros juegos se ven con franjas negras en televisores LCD de 42pulg, formato 16:9.
Porque no hacen el juego para que se vea full screen en un LCD.?

Yo lo tengo en un plasma de 42" conectado con cable HDMI a 720p, no se de que franjas hablas.

Que cable estas usando y a que resolucion tenes el PS3? Lo tenes configurado para pantalla amplia?

en mi plasma de 42 pulgadas se ve bien sin ninguna franja negra,pero en mi tv de normal si se ven.

Entra a configuracion de pantalla y cambia el aspecto de 4:3 a 16:9 (si tienes este problema en un lcd es por q te estas conectando por RCA [amarillo blanco y rojo] pasate a hdmi para q le saques todo el potencial a la consola y alli el aspecto se configura automaticamente)
 
No hay una especie de cable o dapatador que ofresca buena calidad con los RCA, que no sean lo de componente? Pq queiro comprarme mi PS3 pero no tengo un televisor tan decente como para sacarle el jugo. Porque pa´ que me compro semejante consola si no tengo un TV igual de bueno
 
No, las opciones son RCA, Componente o HDMI, si el TV tiene entrada de componente asi no sea alta definicion es recomendable ese cable.
 
S-VIDEO (Separete-Video [POR FAVOR NO LO LLAMEN SUPER VIDEO!!]) te da la maxima calidad en un tv estandar, vale la pena componentes cuando el televisor soporta escaneo progresivo (480p) de resto es la misma senal.
 
Yo tuve un tv que tenia componente y no soportaba 480p, y la imagen mejoraba considerablemente con el cable componente. No mejoraba la resolucion pero si los colores y la nitidez.

Bueno descargando 2.4.1 que la 2.4.0 me la perdi cuando la fui a pillar la habian retirado..

Ah, eso sí lo tiene mi TV, tendria que utilizar algun converso cierto, siendo así utilizaré el de mi tarjeta de video.

Viejo, si usa un conversor de SVideo a video compuesto (1 conector RCA) perderia el aumento de calidad ke le da el SVideo, pues el video compuesto no transporta tanta "señal" como Svideo... El video compuesto solo transporta una señal modulada de luminancia+crominancia mientras Svideo transporta señales de luminancia y crominancia independientes y separadas

Svideo seria una opcion si el PS3 tuviera salida Svideo o si se conectara a algun tipo de conversor de componente a Svideo (componente > svideo > compuesto)

el display port es un poco aparte, pues es conocido mas que todo en pc's, sin siquiera ser popular en estos, tanto en tv, monitores, el estandar de alta definicion es HDMI

Me van a criticar pero square desde que se unio con enix no es ni la mitad de lo que era antes. Ellos empezaron a tener otras prioridades y a sacar cosas mas casposas y mas geeks. Sigue siendo bacano pero era mejor antes.
